Paperport can also be used as an electronic printer from other software programs including accounting packages, Word and Excel. You or your client can print from these programs to create files for uploading and to save all client documents in the same format for easy storage and viewing within the Paperport software. TADTechnology also recommends Adobe Acrobat, an electronic document software. Adobe Acrobat functions as an electronic printer allowing you to print from any other software, creating an electronic document that can stored and uploaded to your clients. This eliminates the need to print on paper. Also it is not necessary for your client to purchase any software to view these files. Simply by downloading and installing the free Adobe Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com, your client will be able to view, print and save any files you upload for them in this format.
